We are going to have a block party in the park that will consist of live local performances, poetry by neighborhood children, food games, music and much more!
the steps
Once we have the money we will secure the DJ , buy the food and supplies then start spreading the word
why we're doing it
We are doing this because we live in a time where people stay on the same street and dont even know, yet alone speak to their next door neighbor. They see their kids playing with other kids but dont know who their parents are or where the kids live.
This event is designed to create a setting where the residents in the community can get to know one another and their children in hopes of creating a sense of unity.
