Ready to join? join Supper Club
Because so many important projects on ioby are dedicated to growing fresh food in neighborhoods that need it most, we created the Supper Club.
The concept is simple: intimate, al fresco dinners prepared by locally renowned chefs with locally grown food, served in some of New York City's most coveted spaces. Guests will choose from a series of these dinners in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and the Bronx where they will dine outside for a spectacular, seasonal gourmet meal and learn more about the social, health and environmental impacts the city of New York faces due to food access issues.
But wait, it gets better! In addition to enjoying a fantastic meal in a wonderful location, your ticket also helps support ioby projects throughout NYC that focus on food and youth: 50% of your ticket goes to the Supper Club Fund (explained below), 30% goes to directly to selected ioby projects (announced when ticket sales open for each dinner), and 20% goes to support ioby’s daily operations.
Money raised from ticket sales, corporate sponsorship and Supper Club membership help create the Supper Club Fund. As soon as the first $15,000 has been raised, the Supper Club Fund will act as a matching fund for all ioby projects that increase access to healthy foods for NYC youth -- providing a dollar-for-dollar match for all the money raised by neighborhood leaders for their eligible ioby projects.
Join the Supper Club, and for just $200 a year, help build the Supper Club Fund, get discounted tickets and early access to future dinners, as well as exclusive access to Supper Club chefs, farmers and project beneficiaries.
