Farrah Lafontant, Senior Director of Action & Success
Farrah leads ioby's Action & Success team, which includes strategists and crowdfunding coaches who reach and support neighborhood leaders to take action and successfully fundraise on ioby. She’s a proud Brooklynite who discovered her passion for community engagement when she served as a Parent Coordinator with New York City’s Department of Education. There, she learned the power of advocacy, community, and coalition building. She often finds herself in awe of civic leaders who are passionate about changing their communities on their own terms.
When she's not working to drive change in her own neighborhood, Farrah is likely practicing her kreyol, exploring her passion for all things fiber arts, or leading walking tours focused on the history, architecture, and culture of her East New York neighborhood in Brooklyn.
