Miriam Parson, Match Programs Director

Miriam is ioby’s Match Programs Director, administering our matching grants to develop strategies that help communities get good done. She cultivates relationships with our partners to make positive civic change in the places they call home.

Miriam is excited by ioby's service-leadership to self-determination in neighborhoods nationwide. She brings fifteen years of experience in creating and growing asset-based community programs, grounded in the belief that local neighbors know what is best for their own future.

She holds a Masters in Sustainability and Management degree from Chatham University, and two Bachelors in Political Science and Environmental Studies from Gettysburg College.

Miriam enjoys hiking throughout Appalachia, volunteering to plant street trees and community gardens, and growing her own micro farm.
