James has his Master’s Degree from Chatham University in Sustainability with a focus in Community Planning. His research specializes in land use, spatial analysis, urban ecology and green infrastructure. James holds his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Pittsburgh in Urban Planning and History. His previous experience in the Department of City Planning, Pittsburgh City Council, GTECH Strategies and The Design Center has given him a strong background and passion for developing communities that are economically viable, environmentally friendly, and socially just. In continuing his passion and commitment towards sustainable practices, James is an accredited LEED Green Associate.
