Noah Budnick works to make communities more equitable, healthy and fun. He serves as director of public policy & government affairs for Zendrive, a firm that works to reduce risky driver behavior and save lives. Noah introduced “Vision Zero” to the U.S. – that all traffic deaths and serious injuries are preventable – and helped win a 25 mph speed limit for New York City. He also conducted the first research to show the “safety in numbers” effect in the U.S. – the more people who walk and bike, the fewer casualties.

Before Zendrive, Noah was executive director of the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition and deputy director of Transportation Alternatives in New York City. He began his professional career in sustainable transportation, but his roots go back to high school, where he convinced his phys ed teachers to let him start a mountain biking club in lieu of going to gym class.
