Common Ground is a day of community conversation and action.

It isn't often that we have an opportunity, as a county-wide neighborhood, to come together and assess the state of our community, and explore how to make it stronger. Organized by our friends at the Cleveland Foundation, Common Ground is just that–a chance for neighbors across the Cleveland region to come together, share a meal, and tackle a common theme. This year, neighbors explored the surroundings that shape who we are: the built environment of homes and streets, the social and cultural environment in which we were raised, the natural environment that surrounds us, and more.

United by a common question, all Common Ground conversations have the same goal: to create spaces where meaningful connections are made and purposeful actions begin.

To help you take action, and to help bring your great ideas for positively change in environment to life, we're excited to invite you to participate in our Common Ground Crowdfunding Match!

With support from the Cleveland Foundation and Neighborhood Connections, ioby is offering up to $2,000 in matching funds, plus fundraising coaching, to leaders of projects that improve community life in Cuyahoga, Geauga, and Lake counties.

Whether you and your neighbors are dreaming of a mural, a street festival, an afterschool program, or a new community garden, ioby can help you bring it to life. Match funding is available NOW and is first-come, first-served–so share your idea below to get started fundraising with matching dollars!
