Current most of Brooklyn's organic waste is going into the landfill. There is no way to identify people that are composting in Bklyn as part of the solution to this problem.

why we're doing it
Our project will create interactive online and printed maps that will identify participants in the following catagories of composting: public drop off sites, member only drop off sites,institution member drop off sites, public institutions such as in parks and the Brooklyn Botanical Garden, and commercial participants in Brooklyn.
