the project
Tactical Urbanism allows us to test low-cost methods for how to make public streets safer for all participants. With a focus on pedestrian safety, we can slow down the speed of cars traveling through the intersection while simultaneously making the intersection more fun, colorful, and active. Let's not underestimate the power of a little bit of paint and a lot of community minded volunteer spirit!
