We plan on bringing in 100 low income expectant mothers and educating them on safe sleep, breastfeeding, infant safety, and other topics. Each mom who attends will receive a Pack-N-Play and a backpack diaper bag.
the steps
Our Community Leadership Program class has been planning the logistics of the community baby shower. We have identified the expectant mothers and will host the event on Saturday, April 27.
why we're doing it
Infant safety and care is an important issue and we want to be sure that all mothers have access to information and supplies regardless of income level.
