the project
The environmental tent provides a venue for organizations or individuals who are actively working to promote environmental awareness. We are raising awareness of the general public on how to become environmentally active.
the steps
We reach out to former participants and actively seek new groups or individuals who are actively working towards the above-mentioned goals. We need approximately 10 volunteers to help throughout the day starting at 8am for setting up the environmental tent and then assisting the various participants with their table set up. We also have a table for organizations that may not be able to attend but who send us their information to make it available to the public.
why we're doing it
We invite environmental groups to have tables in the environmental tent and to distribute information about their work, do demonstrations, engage people in learning about what they can do to be more environmentally active. www.drumsalongthehudson.org
