Expanding in 2018!

the project

We believe in beautifying our main street to show our Hazelwood pride.

Since 2016, the Greater Hazelwood Curb Appeal Project has worked with the Western PA Conservancy to install and maintain hanging flower baskets along 2nd Avenue.  Our team is continuing to work together next year to install the floral hanging baskets again and to expand our efforts to include planters throughout the community. Our goal is for these additions to complement the noticeable physical improvements already occurring along our main street.

We are raising funds to continue this beautification of our business district in 2018 and beyond.

This collaborative beautification effort will not only create an inviting experience in the neighborhood, but will be a visible depiction of our pride. If we all pull together we can make a big difference.

the steps

Raise funds to support 10 hanging basket project along our 2nd Avenue business corridor: $5,200

Raise funds to expand the beautification program to install large planter boxes at intersections in 2018: $800

The hanging baskets are installed by Western PA Conservancy and watered throughout the season, starting Spring 2018.

The large planter boxes will be installed by Floriated Interpretations, dependent on donations.
