360 Academic Sports Academy transforms the lives of student-athletes, primarily from underserved neighborhoods in the greater New York City area, by providing academic support coupled with sports training. Our goal is to place our students in top-performing public, private, day, and boarding schools and colleges. We use athletic and performance training as a hook to keep our student-athletes engaged and focused. Our participants will be the future leaders who will break the cycle of poverty in their communities.
360’s IOBY campaign will be specifically targeted to addressing the education and physical health needs which resulted from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on our of participants. Our program will target kids who were already affected prior to COVID-19. However, we know COVID worsened the situation for our students through virtual learning, limiting their academic advancement and hours “on task” and their ability to stay in good physical condition and hone their sports skills. Participants have already recounted how they have been handicapped in these ways, but we know more formally, that COVID disproportionately impacted NYC low-income and students of color and could cost learning losses of over a year in reading and math.
Athletically, since school sports, training centers, and camps were closed, most of our kids could not train and exercise. Many gained weight, lost skills and the many other benefits from playing sports together with their peers.
Our Summer Scholar-Athletes Campaign will support camp scholarships allowing our next class of 6th and 7th-grade student-athletes to prepare for the full-year school high school placement program as well as to continue our work with the student-athletes we just placed in high school.
Summer Camp Program highlights include student and family workshops on high school and college admission, weekly how to be successful in school workshops, ongoing mentorship from coaches, peer leaders, and academic tutors, test prep, essay writing, book club, and daily athletic strength and skills training.
Students attending the summer program will be transitioned to our year-round program.

Our 360 Academic Sports Academy intensive programming by seasoned professionals actively addresses equity issues through high-level sports training and academic enrichment beginning in sixth grade through college graduation (our 10 Year Model).
The 360 Summer Camp program is where we begin our 10-year road to success through high-quality athletic training and intensive academic enrichment that includes test prep, essay writing, a book club, and intensive high school and college guidance and placement and through athletic opportunities.
Your support will launch a deserving student on the road to academic and athletic success.
