the project

We believe in investing in all our young people's development and so we are raising funds to expand participation through scholarships. We will raise scholarships annually, starting in 2018.

In our current students we see benefits beyond dance, it's so much more!  We see pro-social behaviors grow, we see students checking off their IEP at school, we see students stepping up into leadership roles to teach peers outside of the dance studio, and we hear from parents that our students take up more responsibilities at home.

The discipline and collaboration at dance transfers to resilient development in our young people, building transferrable strengths for their future careers and their community leadership.

We are raising support for scholarships to expand the number of young people who can join our training. It's not just dance, it's so much more!

the steps

K-Theatre Dance Complex is a dance school that emphasizes Dance Technique, Terminology, Theory and Drama in order to mold strong and captivating performers. We teach the basics of the art form that is dance, to students ages 3-17, thus building strong mental and physical foundations with-in our students. As a result, we expose them to an artistic discipline that will allow them to excel in any profession that they ultimately pursue.
