This is a multigeneration community garden project in South Memphis. It involves all ages, races, genders, and denominations. Inaddition, this project will teach the community to raise organic fruits and vegetables. Classes will be held on healthy nutrition and exercise at Harris Memorial C.M.E. Church.

why we're doing it
The community is in a low socioeconomic area with numerous health issues related to poor nutrtion. The children lack the knowledge of how food is produced. A community garden will provide cost effective produce.
