the project
The New American Academy community wants to increase our Arts partnerships. We want to be able to give our students the opportunities to create and express themselves through art and dance. Through the Arts we also want to tap into the many talents that our students have and we want to increase our ability to develop these talents further. We are working in collaboration with many different organizations including Circuit Productions and the NY Youth Choir.
the steps
We are going to launch the ioby campaign page in mid August so that parents can start to donate prior to the school year. Once the school year begins, September 9, we will send out flyers and emails to families in addition to reach out to community members and other friends and family.
why we're doing it
Our students need access to the arts. They love to draw, paint, sing, and dance. Our students have so many talents that we want to foster and grow. However, we need your help. In order to provide these programs, we need to raise the funds. Please help our students and give them these great opportunities!
