the project
The Madison Avenue Business Association would like to purchase and adopt two attractive and unique trash receptacles that will be placed at a determined location along Madison Avenue. Madison Avenue is a beautiful and vibrant street full of restaurants, bars and live music. There is a lot of pedestrian traffic with little to no trash receptacles. Our project hopes to address this issue.
the steps
Receptacles will be purchased and placed strategically along Madison Avenue where litter is prevalent. The containers will be adopted by businesses along Madison and kept clean.
why we're doing it
MABA is actively engaged in making Madison Avenue a beautiful place to live, work and play. By placing attractive receptacles in strategic places we hope to encourage "right" behaviors and eliminate litter from hitting the street and entering our watershed.
