the project
The money raised in this fundraiser will be used to support the annually programing Minor Miracles conducts every year, and has been supporting us for the last 7 years. Our Summer youth program keeps at-risk youth off the streets in a safe and educational environment. Our garden program teaches inner city kids about gardening and stewardship of the environment. And our men's academy, which exposes young men to real life work and cultural experiences. The programs are all run by community leaders and some youth that were formally in the summer programs as interns.
the steps
Our programs are currently underway and doing well. The summer program for the youth was a home run. We just need to clean up our outstanding bills. Our men's academy will get underway the first week in October.
why we're doing it
This program is done by community leaders who see the direct effect of the hard work done a year ago. We have former campers who have come back as interns and have done an outstanding job. This proves to us, you get out of the community what you put into the community.
