NEOMHA is committed to supporting our folk music community and providing inspiring, educational, and uplifting programs that present talented artists, diverse musical forms, and meaningful opportunities for our community to gather and celebrate musical traditions. During this unprecedented health crisis, our usual festivals and jams have been put on hold indefinitely. The artists that we work with and support have felt the effects of COVID 19 as well. Lack of performance opportunities and engagement has put a strain on our organization's mission and work. But we're still working to create events that keep the music playing, and keep music-lovers connected. Earlier in the spring, we introduced our first live-stream mini-festival performance. Now we are bringing the community a socially-distanced live concert that will not only let audiences enjoy the tremendous talent of a nationally recognized artist but also let us come together with safe practices in a beautiful setting, as a community.
