About the project
We're taking a different approach to father-son bonding with baking by making it a little easier to absorb during the pandemic. Introducing Pan-Dem-Make: BOYS BAKE TOO! Our organization, "Aayden's Playce", supports Children of Incarcerated Parents, and other at-risk families. We intend to serve and supply our friends of this population with an opportunity to learn, have fun, create and enjoy together, through the art of cake-making and design. Our goal is to inspire fathers and other men in the community to use this project as a welcome distraction to the long-term effects if Covid-19. We want to encourage men to take on this class with their sons, grandsons, nephews, etc. and make it a memorable experience they all will be proud of every time someone mentions "CAKE"!

Why we‘re doing it
Our program services families who have been affected by incarceration. Through this project, we are focusing on bringing fathers closer to their sons with quality time in the kitchen. Baking and creating something together gives skills and lessons for a lifetime. Our goal is to bring fathers back into the community in a different capacity.
