Thank you! Biodigester set to gobble waste.

the project

The environmental problem our Biodigester/reactor seeks to solve are: 1. Reduce Carbon emissions 2. produce renewable energy 3. Divert waste from land fills and create usable life giving compost.

the steps

The steps necessary to complete Biodigester/Reactor project are as follows: 1. Design and Build the reactor, this process will take 2 weeks from the start date which is set for April 18, 2011 2. Installation of the reactor at Two Coves Community Garden. Time frame for this section 3days. 3. Start the reactor, then record the amount of waste consumed, record the volume of gas produced, and record the amount of compost created. And most importantly study all the numbers to understand public use feasibility.

why we're doing it

Our Biodigester will divert waste from land fills for fuel. It will create CH4, which is the cleanest of the hydro carbon fuels, this will reduce carbon emissions.
