I am an ambassador with the GTECH ReClaim Mckeesport program. We are transforming vacant lots within the community into beautiful green spaces. My vacant lot is located at the corner of Union and Beaver Street in the 7th ward of Mckeesport. I have plans to turn this lot into a beautiful perennial/tree garden, with a small winding path through out. I hope to bring this neighborhood closer and pursue others to also make changes. Since my lot is larger and centered around my fellow ambassadors spaces, we have hopes of purchasing a storage shed to hold all of our tools and materials needed for the upkeep of our projects.
