the project
As a first-year school with a STEAM curriculum, we are always interested in keeping things green! We'd like to add some solar lighting to the front of our school. Parents and students will be involved in both the online fundraising campaign and the installation day.
the steps
Once the money is raised, all we need to do is purchase the solar lights from Lowe's and install them in equal spacing in front of our school. We have a monthly school clean-up day already scheduled, and students will assist parent volunteers to install the lights.
why we're doing it
Our school has some lighting, but not enough to brighten up the front of our building for both safety and aesthetic reasons. Solar lights will have an immediate impact.
