Steel Smiling bridges the gap between black community members and mental health support through education, advocacy, and awareness.

Join us as we support the costs for 20 black adults in our Beams to Bridges Mental Health Training Program, which will launch this September with our Suicide Awareness Month activities.

October, November, and December: Beams to Bridges program sessions and End of Year Celebration Event 

January through May: Beams to Bridges Sessions, Mental Health Awareness Month activities, and Program Graduation 

why we're doing it

We improve accessibility, reduce stigma, and activate neighborhood champions. Our experiences make mental health welcoming, informal, and culturally-sensitive for black people.
