True Desserts makes Plant Based creations. Our cakes are Vegan, Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Egg Free and Soy Free. Our creations do not use refined sugar, artificial ingredients, preservatives, and use only Non-GMO, and mostly Organic Ingredients.
While it may not seem like we use a whole lot, we focus on using whole foods that are 100% delicious!
True Desserts is looking to expand our nut free options and with this matching grant from Eastern Market Corp we will be able to release our new nut free menu!

why we're doing it
True Desserts is the healthiest dessert in Detroit and I want everyone to be able to enjoy the taste and nutritional benefits. This company was born because of my personal health journey. It took years to learn what foods were triggering my illness and how to create dishes without them. I understand the difficulties of living with food sensitivity’s and allergies and want to offer something for everyone.
