Since we began our on-the-ground work in Memphis, ioby has supported more than 200 resident leaders to plan, fund, and build positive change in neighborhoods across the city. Together, these leaders have raised more than $610,000 in small donations to make Memphis neighborhoods greener, safer, more livable, and more full of opportunity for all residents. To see the full extent of our work, check out the Memphis Impact Report.

Ready to make change? Reach out to the Memphis Action Strategists, Ellen Roberds at ellen@ioby.org or Chris Jones at chris@ioby.org, to tell us your idea and we'll contact you right away:

"This ioby project was a good case study identifying and addressing problems as a group. I learned that if you have a good idea and share it with other people, they will support you. And if you give them the opportunity, they will help. Memphis is one of the most unusual places I've lived, in that there's an expectation that people will take care of what's around them."

- Robyn Mace, ioby leader, Evergreen Rain Garden

We're coming to your neighborhood district!

BIG NEWS! We’re excited to announce that this year ioby will be working with Memphis 3.0 to listen to YOUR ideas about how to build a smart growth plan for the city. Over the next seven months ioby is excited to participate in Memphis 3.0 community events in 12 neighborhood districts to listen to residents about their community needs and share solutions. But, we can only do this with your input. To make your voice heard, come to a Memphis 3.0 community event.

Alongside these events, ioby will be hosting our very own workshops to help you take action in improving your neighborhood. We'll go over some of our tried-and-true tips for fundraising success, share some stories of awesome Memphis projects, and talk about ioby's services like fiscal sponsorship. Plus you will get tailored fundraising coaching and get an opportunity to build your ioby campaign page.

  Upcoming ioby Workshops:

March 29th  Memphis Athletic Ministries (2107 Ball Rd.) from 6:00-7:30 pm

April 11th: Methodist North Hospital (3960 New Covington Pike) from 6:00-7:30 pm

Can't make one of these workshops?  Drop by Chris' Public Office Hours:
