About ioby:

ioby supports neighbors to grow and implement great ideas one block at a time. Our online platform connects leaders with funding and support to make our communities safer, greener, more livable and more fun.

We are thrilled to announce that our Pittsburgh office has launched! Our first Pittsburgh Action Strategist, Miriam Parson, will be recruiting projects across every neighborhood in the city, including Uptown, The Hill District, South Pittsburgh’s Hilltop Communities, Hazelwood, Homewood and the North Side.

Neighbors have already raised more than $3 Million on our platform for colorful murals, vibrant community gardens, walkable and bikeable streets, and more! We think that it should be easy to make meaningful change “in our backyards” - the positive opposite of  NIMBY.

We can't wait to work alongside the incredible neighbors, leaders, and community groups who are bringing positive change to our amazing city.
