the project
Anissa's art corner is a self-funded program that's run by me alone with the donations from generous friends and family members. I provide free arts and craft projects to the community families of all ages. My goal is to have a permanent location, so I'll be able to do a different and free activity daily.
Anissa's art corner participates in giving free arts and craft projects to the community, because it's my passion and also a great way for families to spend quality time together. I love interacting and inspiring their creative visions, watching them smile and listening to their laughter the families exhibit, it warms my heart and brings me an overabundance of joy.
the steps
Once funding is received, we will:
- Obtain a location to provide free arts and craft projects 3 days a week!
- Put on a yearly free art event at the park for the community.
- Purchase supplies (chairs, tables, art supplies, etc.)
- Pay for transportation; and
- Provide a stipend to a youth assistant.
why we're doing it
Providing free arts and crafts to the community allows our youth as well as families to have a positive and constructive atmosphere.
It teaches families a cohesiveness that allows for growth and development.
It fosters positive attitudes for all involved.
