Blue Stallion Entertainment/The Center for Creations is a local nonprofit organization presenting the painting of mural by a local and talented artist, Mr. Norris Johnson.
the steps
Our event will include the dedication of the mural to the Orange Mound Community. There will be live entertainment and refreshments provided.
why we're doing it
We hope to add beauty and presence to our historical neighborhood. As we all know, any form of the arts can be very inspirational and uplifting, and also add peace in our sometimes troubling times. This will be the beginning of creating change for the people in the Orange Mound community both young and old. And this mural will benefit the entire city of Memphis.

ORIGINAL BUDGET:
We plan to provide refreshments for our visitors. A live band, we will of course paint the mural. Have positive and motivating speakers, and performers. We will have to construct a stage that we hope to use in the future for any up and coming events. All members and volunteers will wear t-shirts. We hope to plant a flower garden near the mural and keep it nice each year.
