The Cawker City Weightroom was originally built back in 1998 by community raised funds and volunteer work. In its 22 years of existence, minimal upgrades have taken place.
Over the last couple of years, simple updates have been made. The leaky overhead door has been fixed, a broken window and we've added a few pieces of cardio equipment. But what if we could do more?
What if we could replace the torn benches with new ones that would last another 10-20 years? What if we replaced the old, rusty weights with new ones? What if you had a warm place to walk in the wintertime while catching up on the news or your favorite Netflix series? What if there were fitness classes held right here in Cawker City? All of this, and more, is possible!
With your help, this space has the potential to be just what the community needs.
