the project

The Down to Earth Festival is a celebration of the little things around us that make this Earth wonderful. Shining a light on them and learning what we can do to be better Earthkeepers. Like the fungi in our compost piles we will be sharing ancient information and mapping out pathways for the future.

the steps

May- Community planning sessions

June- Purchase Supplies and make schedule

why we're doing it

Our neighborhood of Bushwick has less green space per capita than most of New York. We are also living with a food apartheid area and have a lack of arts and activities. We will address all of this as we come together. We will build and heal in ways that only a community could.
