If you came to our Semester Celebration this winter you saw how wonderfully our students performed scenes from Hamilton. Mr. Josh will be taking 20 eligible drama students to see a musical theatre performance… but not without your help! Although we are getting discounted tickets, we still need your help to make this Broadway dream a reality.
the steps
First Drama Teacher Mr. Josh will support the students as they evaluate each other's performances using a standard rubric.
The top 20 scoring students will be eligible to attend this special event!
Mr. Josh is working to obtain discounted tickets for a musical theatre production.
why we're doing it
The students have worked hard in drama to bring scenes to life and to understand the elements of a successful performance.
Being in New York City, we have a unique opportunity to expose some of our students (though we wish it could be all of them!) to the lights of Broadway.
Incentives like this help provide focus and drive in our last few months of Drama class.
