To encourage dog walkers to scoop and properly dispose of their pet's poop, we're installing bag dispensers with catchy, encouraging signage, and recruiting "poop bag station adopters" to take ownership of each station.
the steps
We will order the bag dispensers and refills, make and apply decals, and post the stations in high traffic areas. We will give each station "adopter" one refill and ask that they monitor the dispensers.
why we're doing it
Too many owners don't clean up after their dogs, and if they do, they toss their sacks of poop into yards and alleys.
budget
We will buy six bag dispensers ($49) and one 3200-count refill pack ($127) from DogWasteDepot.com.
