Development Associate
Mel supports individual giving and corporate partnerships in her role as Development Associate.
Mel received a US History degree from Barnard College, where she was a fellow with Student Global AIDS Campaign (a project of Health GAP). After graduating, she joined Americorps to serve non-profits in CA, OR, and WA as part of the National Civilian Community Corps. She then relocated to Madison, WI and worked for the Mayors Innovation Project as a water management and workforce policy associate. Mel returned to NYC and began working at ioby in August 2017. In her free time, she enjoys dancing, reading tarot cards, and organizing for economic justice.
