A.L.A.R.M. stands for Always Love And Respect Myself. This program is for girls ages 9 - 19 who struggle with self-esteem issues. We designed these art projects and classes to help support and address important issues for this group. Our goal is to provide art classes that encourage expression and build confidence in a fun, positive environment.
The program is FREE to our community and includes art supplies, self-care packages (hygiene & PPE items), art history lessons, and an exciting curriculum that will give these girls tools they can use for life. During these classes, girls will be free to show their feelings and unique artistic talent, while also being engaged in serious conversations about things they want to chat about.
This class is fit for beginners to learn or for expert artists to teach. Overall, the group is centered on inclusivity!

A.L.A.R.M. was created to empower, innovate, motivate, and build strength & confidence in young women. Many young ladies face considerable odds in their homes and communities. They may also struggle with low self-esteem. Our goal is to positively impact the lives of these girls when they need it most. "Let's PAINT about it" opens the door for feelings to be put on paper, and then for hard conversations to be had about those feeling. This class will be the place where there are NO limits, NO stereotypes, and NO impossible expectations of perfection and beauty.
