We would like to do a community Art Party in the Park, absolutely FREE for the residents of Cleveland. Our goal is to engage families and communities to interact positively through painting in the parks. We want to encourage everyone to get outside, walk, play,  absorb the fresh air,  view the beauty of nature and create art together. 

We want to encourage children to use their imaginations in a friendly, refreshing environment while learning art skills.  We want adults to get out in the community and take advantage of the time to connect with fellow community members while taking on a relaxing activity.

why we're doing it

Our organization, "Aayden's PLAYce", supports children of incarcerated parents, and other at-risk families. Families are still struggling with the long-term effects of COVID-19, including increased isolation, financial and emotional stress, and sadness in many households. Not to mention, the ongoing violence in the local neighborhoods. With PAINT THE PARK, families are able to cure some of the stress and anxiety, have fun doing art projects outside in a positive setting and enjoy a change of scenery.  Our goal is to inspire families in the community to use this project as a welcome distraction from the long-term effects of the pandemic and increasing gun violence. We want to encourage parents to participate with their families, interact with other families and grow bonds in the community. We hope for a memorable experience everyone will be proud of when they display their art at home!
