the project

Through a carefully designed curriculum, participants will learn the essentials of podcasting equipment, recording and editing techniques, content creation, audience engagement, and effective marketing strategies. Our goal is to empower individuals to confidently create and host successful podcasts and livestreams for marketing purposes. The funds raised through this sponsorship matching grant will be instrumental in the development and implementation of the class. It will allow us to acquire state-of-the-art equipment, secure experienced instructors, and provide participants with a supportive learning environment. Additionally, sponsors will receive prominent promotion and recognition, showcasing their commitment to fostering educational opportunities and innovation.

the steps

1. Equipment Acquisition: - Purchase necessary equipment such as microphones, headphones, pop filters, and audio interfaces. - Set up recording and editing stations with the required hardware and software. 2. Staff Training: - Train instructors and support staff on the course content, equipment usage, and teaching methodologies. - Conduct practice sessions to ensure smooth delivery of the class. 3. Class Promotion: - Develop marketing materials and strategies to promote the class to potential participants. - Utilize social media, email campaigns, and outreach efforts to reach a wider audience.

why we're doing it

Our project recognizes the interconnected nature of social, economic, and environmental challenges in our neighborhood and city. Through our passion and motivation, we aim to address these issues by leveraging the power of education and innovation in podcasting and livestreaming. Socially, we see a need for accessible and inclusive educational opportunities that empower individuals to enhance their skills and pursue new career paths. Many in our community may lack access to resources and training in digital marketing, limiting their potential for economic growth and professional development.
