Using the Roots Of Success curriculum, we will localize it by matching applicable aspects to local market needs to help entrepreneurs start businesses and procure funding.
the steps
Match local business persons with green curriculum to develop market, operational and financial plans. Then provide class and on-the-job-training to build the capacities of entrepreneurs. Create a fundable business plan and shop it to local funding sources (banks, credit unions or microlending institutions). Then follow up with 1-year long mentoring, to increase likelihood of success.
why we're doing it
Job creation via entrepreneurship. New markets need to be filled to decrease unemployment and thus build stronger communities, while at the same time making these communities greener and more sustainable.
