Highland Clubhouse is building a safe, accessible community space in the North End of Niagara Falls. We are taking a multi-generational, holistic approach to helping eliminate poverty in the area. This fundraiser in particular will benefit our Community Kitchen program! Our Community Kitchen will be available for use for events, classes, workshops, and more! We will also be utilizing it for our Food Business Incubator, helping local food entrepreneurs to become properly licensed, certified, and prepared to launch their own restaurant or catering business!

  • Currently working with Three Squared Inc architecture firm on a sustainable design
  • Searching for a general contractor to help bring this vision to life! 
  • Construct Highland Clubhouse at 1111 Grove Avenue

why we're doing it

The Highland community has been without a community center since the one on Center Ave closed down many years ago. Teen pregnancy rates are extremely high in this neighborhood and people are frequently asking for more activities for youth. The area is also a food desert. We need a welcoming space for youth and families with lots of programming and options! The Community Kitchen will help to foster entrpreneurs starting food businesses, offer classes and workshops on healthy eating, and teach youth how to cook things from our community garden!
