Project Green Space will rehabilitate an empty lot and work with impoverished communities to maintain a stable and healthy lifestyle. In an attempt to revitalize neighborhoods, we will continue to work with many different organizations to tackle quality of life issues pertaining to food deserts in Niagara Falls. We will raise the awareness of community members surrounding food deserts and host seminars to teach healthy eating habits and different ways to form a stable community. This will include education on gardening, recycling, bring new life to empty lots, fields, street corners, and buildings.

My project will not only bring food to our community, it will build community relations. Eventually, the project hopes to become self-sufficient by selling produce from the community garden to collect funds to reinvest in more neighborhood projects.
